IRA Ventures invests in a broad spectrum of entertainment, media, and sports companies and assets.
In February 2022, IRA in partnership with Lantern Entertainment and Eagle Pictures acquired Les Studios Des Paris, the largest sound stage complex in the Paris area. The 102,000 sq ft, 16-acre campus is strategically located near CDG and Le Bourget airports and the Eiffel Tower, in the iconic Cité du Cinéma in Saint Denis.
In March 2022, IRA invested alongside Spyglass Media and other strategic partners in Panoramic Media, a newly formed production house led by former MGM Motion Group President John Glickman. The studio will leverage Glickman’s existing slate of projects to grow a library of content across film, TV, podcast and other digital platforms.
In the summer of 2022 IRA, in partnership with Lantern Entertainment and Eagle Pictures, announced a film financing deal with Sony Pictures, which included Lyle Lyle Crocodile starring Javier Bardem and Shawn Mendes, and Equalizer 3 with Denzel Washington.

IRA acquired The Weinstein Company assets in collaboration with Lantern Entertainment LLC.
Lantern Entertainment was newly formed to purchase the assets of The Weinstein Company through a bankruptcy process, which included its award-winning 277-film library and other television assets including Project Runway.
Lantern and former MGM CEO Gary Barber formed a joint-venture to relaunch Spyglass Media Group in collaboration with IRA Capital and other strategic investors including Eagle Pictures, Cineworld, and Warner Brothers. IRA and Lantern through Lantern Entertainment made a majority investment including its film library in Spyglass Media Group.
